Danish underwear-brand JBS’ products are rarely seen when worn in public, but the quality of the underwear and the efforts behind creating it are immense. In many ways you can say that JBS are working ’behind the scenes’.
In recognizing this JBS wanted to connect with the music scene and honour the people who work hard behind the scenes to put together hundreds of concerts each year, focusing on Danish venues and tourmanagers.
They did so by asking Danish tourmanagers the following: Which Danish venue has the best backstage facilities and the most welcoming crew? Godset in Kolding won the title and 10.000 DKK.
We put together video-interviews with four tourmanagers giving us a glimpse into their world by telling us stories from their life on the road. The tourmanagers were Stefan Cristopher Pedersen (Phlake’s manager), Troels Bjørn (D-A-D’s tourmanager), Jesper ”Jobber” Wallin Mikkelsen (Suspekt’s tourmanger) and Emil Lund Dinesen (Christopher’s tourmanager).
The video-interviews were published via JBS’ SoMe channels and shared by the tourmanagers, venues, artists and fans, creating a viral sensation giving the tourmanagers and venues much deserved attention.
